ELEVATING OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH
Elevate believes education is one of the key components in lifting someone out of poverty.
Many of the educational programs at Elevate focus on Kindergarten through second grade. This is because Elevate believes it is imperative to make sure every student is reading at their grade level or beyond by 2nd grade. Elevate offers a Kindergarten after-school program and a Kindergarten through 2nd grade summer-camp to assist students who are falling behind.
Elevate has a partnership with William S. Sandel Elementary, a local Title 1 school.
Elevate offers a Kindergarten after school program throughout the academic year for Sandel’s students.
This program is designed to assist students with their homework and provide students with reading opportunities. The goal is for students to be reading at their grade level or above.
Elevate offers a Kindergarten through 2nd grade program throughout the summer.
Students in this program are selected by their teachers because they are not reading their current grade level. Students receive reading assistance, math assistance, breakfast and lunch, and may participate in various enrichment activities.
Elevate Summer Camp is for any student, Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Students participating in this camp participate in enrichment activities, reading activities, and eat breakfast and lunch.
